What do you do?
- Read a story by clicking on the name of the story under Categories in the right nav (anyone).
- Post your chapter of a story by logging in and creating a post (authors only).
How do you post?
- Log in.
- From your Dashboard, or via Site Admin, click on Write or Write Post.
- From the posting window, in the right nav under Categories, check the box for the story you’re posting to. If you’re writing a first chapter, let the administrator know the title of the new story, and a new Category will be added.
- In the right nav under Post Timestamp, edit the date of your post so that it is one day prior to the actual date of previous post (the actual date is auto-generated in this format: Wednesday, August 8th, 2007). This is necessary to keep the chapters in order.
- In the Title window, put the chapter, your initials and the actual date (e.g., Chapter 4 … jmj 080807). If you’re posting the first chapter of a new story, put the title, then your initials and date (e.g., STORY TITLE … jmj 080807)
- Paste your chapter in the Post window.
- Click Publish.
- Email the group, so the next person can write their chapter.
- Save a copy of your chapter, just in case …
